Done For You

The lights were off, the house was quiet broken glass from picture frames lay scattered about the floor. Empty bottles by the sink still warm from bruised lips, words and actions from earlier were all misunderstood and twisted by others. The truth is in the beating hearts of the lovers who where laying on the carpeted floor, tears still staining their faces. His arms were wrapped around her, hands resting on her stomache, her breathing had calmed down minutes ago meaning that she fell asleep in his protecting arms. He laid awake holding her, as the fight from earlier was still fresh in his mind. The fight was formed from lies that were fed to her by someone he now wish he never met. He shook the thoughts away once he felt a little kick from under his hand, he smiled and thought, "This is my angel and our child is our saviour." He placed a kiss to her shoulder before lowly and gently singing into her ear, "The best things in life come with a price,the star that burned so bright faded the fastest, you'll always feel it's right, even when we end the fight...It's all done for you..."
